Came back from a ride, hopped into the shower and came up with the idea for this shot.

Poor quality due to using my cell phone and then tweaking and cropping. Yes I have decided on a week of self portraits. Going to see if I can get up the nerve to put myself totally in front of the camera.

Number 10, Day 100

Yesterday I noticed that the kitchen chairs had ten spindles for their backs. I knew that was to be my ten, but it was also the one hundreth day of this project so it had to be different. I couldn't just take a picture in the kitchen. So down to the bay with the chair and my camera. Chair, sand, water, and the Verrazano Bridge.

Pavers

Earlier this week when I took each of these pavers out to add more sand under them to raise them up, a necessity to keep them from pooling water, I counted them and knew what my shot was for today.

Eight bolts

Seven sprockets on the cassette of my rear hub. Couldn't think what I was going to do for today's pic, but after my twenty nine mile ride today, I looked down while putting my bike away. Ta da.

At a loss today, but this satisfies the number six.

Family

Our first grandchild

We went to our Lauren's for Easter and I kept looking around for my "four" photo when it was jumping all over me as he usually does. I finally caught Baxter in a calm moment and took the shot. I say he is our first grandchild because he was, though he has since gone down in the pecking order to where he stands now; number six, at the bottom.

Three peas in a pod

or they will be in a pod eventually. I started my garden today, planting a row of peas. I had the idea for the shot beforehand but am not satisfied with the way it came out. It isn't what I had in my head when I thought about it. But I don't want to start over and think of something new so this is it. Three peas

Yesterday there was "one" horse. Today we have a "pair" of glasses. One - Two. This will go on til we get to ten.

Grazing in the spring

I was out on a thirty mile ride this afternoon, enjoying the warm spring weather, when I passed this field. I only had my cell phone so the quality is a bit off.
